Hi, I’m Gideon.
Golf has been my profession for almost eight years, working as a PGA Professional and spending most of my career around golfers, golf courses and the people who make the game what it is.
What eventually drew me into travel was seeing how much more a golf trip could be.
I went on a journey where the golf was only one part of the experience, and I loved the entire process — the courses, the places in between, the food, the people, the planning, and making sure everyone came home already talking about doing it again.
That was really where the idea for HF Golf Travel started.

I wanted to build journeys where someone has really considered the traveller — how much golf they want to play, how quickly they like to travel, where they should eat, what they shouldn’t miss, what their partner might enjoy while they’re on the course, and which experiences are actually worth making time for.
It’s a more boutique way of doing golf travel.
Every journey has a structure, but it should still feel like your journey, not a package that has simply been sold to you.
